Dino Enrique Piacentini grew up in Los Angeles, lived in San Francisco for twenty years, and has also, at various times, set down stakes in Houston, Oaxaca, Champaign, and Prague. His writing is forthcoming or has been published in One Story, Gulf Coast, Confrontation, Pembroke, The Master’s Review, The Atticus Review, The Massachusetts Review, and The Red Mare Collection 2025, among other places. Currently, he lives in Denver, Colorado with his Mini-Bernedoodle and full-sized husband, and teaches creative writing at Lighthouse Writers Workshop and the University of Denver.
His debut novel, Invasion of the Daffodils, about a Mexican American family living on an island off the coast of California during the Korean War, was published by Astrophil Press in October 2024.
